Absolutely! It feels a little sloppy in how it used to present certain information and story but not enough to not want to stop me from playing the game the entire time.
I also had a fun time playing through these. I really like what they did with the game, having played (but never actually beating) the original back on the NES.
You're right, they're hella good! I only accidently found it right after I finished NES Blaster Master (much more recently) so getting to go in and freshly see the differences between the firsts was magical.
