I've personally gotten into a habit of petting the cat after feeding her and telling her she can eat now, if she's around.
I was going to walk away to put food back and leave her to her devices, but she was looking up at me expectantly. So I gave her a pet and she immediately started munching.
Bastard
For some reason, the cat MUST walk over my balls when my wife and I are both in bed for the night.
I got to bed a bit later after my wife. The cat won't go to bed unless we're both upstairs, so she chased me up and into bed. She likes laying on my wife's chest, so my wife turned over to allow the cat to do that.
The cat laid down, stood up, jumped onto my balls, went back to cuddle with my wife.
