One of my hobbies is collecting and listening to new music on cassette. There's something about the old tape sound on a boombox that is just very nostalgic and there are quite a few good albums out there on Bandcamp that also come out on cassette! Plus, fixing old audio equipment has become a very relaxing and fun addition to this hobby. They require quite a bit of TLC as I'm sure you can imagine.
As a bonus, tapes have gotten SUPER COOL in the last 5 years. Look at these!
