It's sometimes annoying seeing some users only talking about Dathings or some very popular YTPer and nothing else. I've been a part of the YTP community for almost a decade, and I can say there is a whole history of various YTPers to check out that aren't listed in YouTube's top searches or recommendation; some of those YTPers are only available on archive.org which you can find in this channel database here.

There's YTPMania, an active forum for YouTube Poop itself where you can talk about YTP, post YTP, or lurk around. And that site's not just the only part of the community, there's many more of them worldwide. With the internet becoming harder to look for stuff that's unique or made by souls, that forum might be one of the places where it's more easy to discover videos and other things you wouldn't be able to find any other way.

And while I do want more Cohost people to check out more YTPs outside of what an algorithm shows, I also want to see more YTPers coming here as well. Most of us are likely in walled gardens on Discord, especially me, and I don't even need to say anything about those popular social media platforms to prove that Cohost is one of the only good places. I have seen fellow YTPers used Tumblr back in the 2010s, but they've moved on to Twitter or somewhere else years later. And with how that site is at the moment, I cannot recommend Cohost highly enough.

Anyways, you should go check out the forum or get your YTPer friends to join Cohost. Either way is beneficial. (YTPMV or otomad optionally applies.)

@eggsbox isn't actively pooping right now, but it did inspire me to start working on some of my own again — though that's all very sporadic as i have a lot more important projects to work on currently. i'd love to show you what i've been working on though!!

some of the most popular things i ever made were some absolutely low effort YTPs i posted to YouTube when i was, like, 10 or so. i privated everything on my old channel so those videos have been lost to time :( not that they were any good, anyways. since then i've made a handful of YTPs over the years but most of them were really short and crappy too (plus a lot of them contain my deadname and/or slur usage which i wouldn't really want people to see now) or they just went unfinished.

I didn’t even realize YTP was still an active scene these days! I used to love those when I was a kid, I’m going to look into this. I also find cookie and inmu stuff hilarious
