seeing how much i frequently loathe what youtube has become today and forever curse pewdiepie to hell for his video from 2017 that caused the monetization policies, I'm willing to fuck off and move to Neocities and Newgrounds as my main platforms to share videos. I'll occasionally upload a few mirrors to YouTube but I can't fully trust the site anymore; I find it way less stressful to upload on other sites instead.
With the monopoly of video platforms, I'll have to use cheap methods such as embedding videos from multiple free MEGA accounts using the same email but with a "+1" or more at the end. I won't even mind uploading on Odysee or Rumble even though both have a userbase filled with fascist losers, especially that other alternatives are enshittified, lacking features, or shut down before they had the chance to succeed. At least archive.org is a more tolerable place for me and others to share download links.
I'm sure these alternative sites and methods will worsen or die within a decade, but I'll take the chances and do anything not to be forever stuck on YouTube. I don't believe in hoping for situations outside of ours, nor believe things will get "better", so the best thing for me is to stop staying in the places I hate and migrate elsewhere, because hope is irrational and it's why I moved to Cohost.
