Welcome to the Meteor Community. We are, foremost, a group of speedrunners dedicated to making our communities, both online and offline, more equitable through challenging prejudice and fostering more inclusive understandings of race, gender, and sexuality via education, advocacy, outreach, and support.
We believe in an intersectional future where the systems of oppression are broken down, and we recognize that to achieve this future, efforts to uplift and amplify the voices of the marginalized must be whole-hearted and continuous.
Understanding the work that must be put in to achieve equity regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, class, caste, religion, belief, sex, gender, language, sexual orientation, gender identity, sex characteristics, age, health, or other status, we are committed to the following:
