for those of you that don't know me, or those of you that might/do, but don't recognize my profile picture--hi, i'm sean, but if you know me from streaming on twitch you'll probably just call me sj or sjh instead. (either of those 3 is fine but if you're really worried about it either sean or sj is it.)
i'm a game designer, writer, and artist. my hobbies include streaming, playing video games (fighting games especially), gunpla building sometimes, watching tokusatsu (specialty: kamen rider), and watching anime.
so i'm over here on cohost kind of just quietly quietly, following people i know that are coming over from twitter for the most part and letting my feed kind of build up with w/e they crosspollinate with--i'm mostly looking to follow people that do cool stuff in video games and/or other creative stuff. i have a mastodon account, but i feel like cohost's vibes are just more in line with what i want out of a social media service and some of the particulars of how that service works don't interest me that much.
i'm still using twitter until or unless it literally stops working, but i'll probably do more creative uploads over here on occasion for things like the games i'm prototyping or art that i draw, since the longform design + the other cool code tidbits lend themselves well to my tendency for rambly longform thoughts, showing off cool things i'm working on, and sometimes talking about topics that i think are important (though i'll try to keep a lot of the more aggro crag stuff on birdapp). i'm also aware that super-frequent posting is apparently a bit of a strain on the servers atm so don't expect like, a LOT a lot from me until i hear of things evening out.
i also do enjoy a good shitpost every now and then so, uh, you've been warned. don't expect anything super cursed on here though.
