I do a variety of controls and gameplay related work, and often advocate for improving the approachability and accessibility of game controls.
A wide variety of games are held back by depending on control conventions that are neither easy to learn nor allow players to reach their potential. I spend a lot of time advocating for games to do better in this space, and in particular, I'm an expert (maybe the expert) on how to offer mouse-like precision with modern controllers -- with no need for aim assist!
