perhaps after gamedev has been around for another 20-30 years game developers will solve the impossible problem of letting you compare the stats of a one-handed weapon + an offhander in combination to a single two-handed weapon. It's an impossible task that no one could ever hope to figure out but I believe, in the future, perhaps with the help of 70 different LLMs, we can get there

the solution is simple: no game should ever have visible stats on a weapon. you have to kill a guy with it and go on vibes

The question is: Would LLMs side with the systems-brained designers and throw all the stats up - and I mean ALL of them, or with the "normal" peeps who just want to know which is better in simple terms?
Or, more likely, half promise both in ways that don't actually make sense? (and not in a sensible compromise way. Both extremes. At once)
This is a solved problem! Just apply numerical values that can be compared (they are calculated based on ad hoc internal formulas built around things like "motion values" and "impact" that also can't be compared and so the numbers end up being both meaningless and subject to infinite amounts of bullshit theorycrafting)
