every arrangement of the ff9 battle theme misses something important in the introduction of the song
after the "final fantasy bassline" and the initial string hits come, there is ~2 bar break where an electric organ i think plays this staccato "A . E . F E" before the horns kick in
so many arrangements of this song just leave two bars of empty space there for some reason?????
