more complicated than that. the adapter i have is broken, it turns out, and it never worked well anyway. if i use mic mode it isn't calibrating correctly off my interface (it starts off telling me to mute the strings and never asks me to play, then declares the mic signal to be too low, regardless of any knob twiddling), and if i try to use rs_asio i just don't get any audio throughput
