One of the things I love about small, wild-and-free social networking attempts is how much more cavalier I feel able to be with my shitposts.
Back when I was on Mastodon I was basically nobody, instead of mildly Internet famous for video game speedruns, so I was even more loose about what I shitposted, but even here and now it feels easier to just Have Fun without worrying about being A Brand.
I love that feeling even when I'm not actually taking advantage of it in the moment.
