i've decided to try and become a tekken enjoyer

there are many things for me to learn about tekken!

the pace of battles
how stubby jumps are
~~i was holding back, why didn't i block?~~
~~oh god there's a block button isn't there which button is that fuck fuck~~ i was wrong about a block button!
take the ~~throw~~ low
launcher.exe has encountered an error: you got bopped by your opponent and now they're full comboing you
i really need to time everything to get a good combo
wow, that only did 48 damage, it's gonna take forever to do 10000 dama—oh that is not how much life i have
everything has so many frames
they sidestepped me. again.

i'm pretty excited tbh!!

Tekken is very good! I've heard it described as much more chess-like than other games, and it's probably the game I like watching the most (along with Virtua Fighter, the game I feel is my true favorite 3D).

it seems cool in principle! it's very different from almost everything i've ever played. the only 3d fighter i was ever passable at was soul edge and that game is very aged at this point hehe
