gosh, even just awkwardly plunking out one-handed chords and melody lines and sticking them together, i'm getting a lot more expressiveness and variation than i ever could just writing stuff out.
writing stuff out has its advantages, and recording and re-recording can be exhausting and take a lot out of me, but since i'm finally writing something with lyrics again... i felt like it deserved more
