Last night I put a bunch of UI touches and did code cleanup on a text input component for which my next trick will be to add keyboard input. I forgot to take any videos or screenshots, but it's pretty nice to have the component working!
I also cleaned up a bunch of the actual menu code which was, let me tell you, a huge mess, and a nightmare to work with until I massaged it a little bit. I was having a lot of trouble motivating myself to get work done on it because of that, so it was only partially a yak-shaving exercise, but it ended up being valuable because it got me to engage in forward motion again
