so in my head it should sound bad because of the half-step interval in there but it doesnt it sounds delightful, but every chord identifier ive plugged into has gone "??? no thats wrong" at me. i think you can let it strum over into the open high e too if you like but not always? how ive been using it is as a more mysterious and quirky substitute for the minor 3rd in A, or the diminished in D? so i think it is some kind of C, but like sexy and cool??

Voiced differently this would've been a Gsus4 with a major seventh added on top, but with C in the bass and unambiguously presented as the root... hmm. Root+tritone+fifth is in itself already not an established chord category as it is with or without the major ninth from the upper D, so I feel like you're on your own there n.n; Fun way to play around in C Lydian, though~

No problem~ I guess you could also view it as a Csus2 with an augmented 11th, if with the second and eleventh switched around in their respective octaves (thus making that augmented fourth and major ninth)- either way, it's pretty funky.
