A real "we've got a nephew" of graphic design and illustration, mental illness held at bay by a very nice vegetable garden and cats.

Lapsed printmaker, you should ask me about it and I'll be very weird

So my ADHD gets dramatically worse the week before my period, the phase at which progesterone is at its highest. Just put two and two together that my birth control, Nexplanon, uses progestin.

I was already born with statistically low estrogen levels. It's like I went to my doc and said "Not challenging enough, give me hard mode please"

Man, people with vaginas really need better birth control options, this sucks.

Even in the best of bodies, it's like, do you want the pills you can forget and they lose their efficacy, the ring that needs replacing every 3 months and has terrible side effects, the implant that is sorta okay, or the IUD that causes horrible pain upon placement or removal. Oh boy, the choices!!!

You know what's fun it's when your body reacts extremely badly to progesterone based drugs and the standard treatment for your chronic illness is progesterone, that's fun.

Seriously someone please come up with better drugs.
