The Finnish broadcaster YLE has feature on old Christmas cards on their website and included in that is this gem from the early 20th century that I think we should bring back. It reads "SEASON'S GREETINGS: Peace on your cabins, death to the oppressors".

I can't rightfully tell you because I've never heard that one before. Where's it originally from?
it's from Georg Büchner, one of the german socialist shit-stirrers of the 19th century, later popularized by its usage in Soviet agitprop.
Then it's very well possible it might be a version of that. Both German socialism and Soviet literature had a big influence on early 20th century workers movements in Finland.
