• They/Them

A real "we've got a nephew" of graphic design and illustration, mental illness held at bay by a very nice vegetable garden and cats.

Lapsed printmaker, you should ask me about it and I'll be very weird

I've been watching a few MST3K episodes lately, starting with Santa Claus the other evening, and I'm wondering if I should do a great rewatch of the series, starting with season 1. I never really got into the Joel seasons, but maybe with age and a firm disappointment in Mike being a right-wing shitlord they might go over better.

It's mostly because I really loved this series as a kid, and my life was forever changed when I torrented the whole series in college. I watched/listened to so many while working in the print lab through the night. I want to watch the best ones with Share, but as most comedy there are often jokes that do not age well.

Maybe it's just one of those nostalgic traps, where I want to watch it again in hopes of recapturing those same feelings. Where I would be working on an art project, focused, with funny jokes and references I don't know weaving themselves between. Maybe it might remind me that those feelings are possible
