A prison is not made out of walls, it is made of rules. What makes a prison are not the physical barriers - we voluntarily place ourselves within physically enclosed spaces all the time - but the coercion. Once the doors are unlocked, a prison is no longer a prison, and is therefore now just another cozy box to sit in, one that has the advantage of being the one you are already presently ensconced in.
