Working on designing trellises that fulfill a few requirements: cheapish, easy to build, fit with the raised beds, moveable, and stable/strong enough to support tiny melons.
I went with trellises that are half the width of the beds, so I can mix and match climbers and not have them intermingle. I'm a little worried about the weight of the trellis bending the edge of the beds, as they're only galvanized metal. Unsure.
The tomato table is a silly thing that'll be hard to store, but it's the most stable design. The idea being this frame fits over the outside edge of the bed. Stakes would be placed next to the tomato plants, and then tied to the frame. The idea being that the number and placement of stakes can be adjusted to fit the number of plants.
If you have any suggestions or comments on the design, I would love to hear them!
