• They/Them

A real "we've got a nephew" of graphic design and illustration, mental illness held at bay by a very nice vegetable garden and cats.

Lapsed printmaker, you should ask me about it and I'll be very weird

Being non-binary is strange, because there will be times where I'm like "Hell yeah grilling with a beer on a Saturday night I'm so guy coded right now"

But then I'll think this shit and everything isn't gender coded, only done by genders. Like painting your nails isn't just for women, it's a thing all genders can do. Clothes, haircuts, colors, activities, none of them are truly gendered. At least in an ideal society - never going to tell a doll or a fella how to feel their gender.

A NB friend of mine has ascended to another plane of Nirvana and regards their body parts as non-binary - as in they don't feel dysphoria about their breasts, as they are theirs, and are therefore non-binary. That's where I want to be someday.

"exactly how much of gendered behavior, clothing, and activities are derived from marketing categories will drive you fully insane if you let it," I announce, painting my toenails while I wait for my charcoals to ash over
