• They/Them

A real "we've got a nephew" of graphic design and illustration, mental illness held at bay by a very nice vegetable garden and cats.

Lapsed printmaker, you should ask me about it and I'll be very weird

and I think that's really neat!

My band Waxlimbs put out a song called Need nearly two years ago (woah). It's had a really interesting reception because it got picked up in a couple Interview With The Vampire fan playlists, and that's gay (affirming).

My bandmate Olivia already wrote up a little something about this, so I'll put that here since I'm tired and I think I'm beginning to need glasses.

This tune was by far the hardest to narrow down artwork for. We were going back and forth for days with so many different ideas that each had their own teeny tiny individual tweaks and rabbit-hole, fractal ideas. Here is just a small sampling of the dozens of those put forward. We were looking for something in the realm of prompt criticality, black holes, “tickling the dragon’s tail”, etc. It was frustrating at times, making progress with one then turning back at the last minute, or having something not-quite right without being able to say why. We may still use some of these someday, who knows.
