Went out to my garden to check for tomatoes, and to my surprise some of lima beans were ready! I swear they went from dark green to dry in the few days I wasn't looking. They're a little tricky to pick, as the shells are perfectly designed to explode open and scatter the seeds - you can see it in the first photo. These are the calico lima beans I picked up from Baker's Heirloom Seeds. I think they'll make for a really pretty dish :3
