Had a couple of bad health days and couldn't check the garden, so I have a couple of overlarge zucchini and a boatload of green beans to process. Looks like I'll be making a couple batches of zucchini bread tomorrow, if I get the juice.
Whenever someone talks about the work of gardening, they always talk about the weeding and watering, when the real hidden labor is the processing. Making sure all of the food is eaten, preserved, or given away. I would give some of the stuff above away, but then it's like "Hey I'm from a house full of covid, want some zucchini?"
