here playing power wash sim that the most beautiful moments are not those at the end, but where there's some dirtiness. Where it's authenticly dirty just in the places I've left it dirty. I wish I wasn't incentivized to clean them entirely. I would leave them what I consider to be the most complete.
The reason I feel this way is that in those moments, I have control about what it looks like. I lose my agency as soon as the building is done being clean. For a moment, in the half-clean of the grime, there arises art that I've actually made, and then like a Zen sand drawing, it is wiped away as the building is restored to completion, and I am forced into the collapsed vision of the original creator.
