Unfortunately, the international shipping for the physical cart is prohibitively expensive. A tip though: if you have an M1 Mac, you can install the Mac/iPad version and get the ROM out of the app bundle, then put the ROM on your GB flash cart.
Unfortunately I'm not sure what's going on with the English translation. Earlier this year, there were some tweets about how an English version is coming out this summer, but when I checked again for this article, it appears that those tweets have been deleted. I don't know if that means the English version has been canceled or maybe just delayed. I'll post an update if I hear anything about the English version again!

I just wanted to say thank you for this! I was considering reaching out to the author to see if she'd sell me just the GB rom, but was grateful to come across this post to realize I can grab it myself fully self-service.
If anyone else stumbles on this and is wondering about language support, the bundle contains both EN and JP ROMs (I was worried the non-JP release would only contain the EN rom).
