I plan on making some tokens for Pokemon Dungeon Crawler (20 character backgrounds + NPC pokemon) but I am currently deciding how lo-fi I want to go with it. Pokemon RBY sprites? Black and White? Ken Sugimori watercolours?

Sugimori art is hard to beat imo. Depends on the scope of the Dex tho... Maybe lift some card art from the tcg?
I never thought of using the TCG art! I was thinking of just using stuff that would be easily droppable because the Cabachons are only 1 inch in diameter. I’ll keep that in mind though 🤔
