What's really brilliant about these concepts is that they're essentially redresses of the same geometry-- and the juxtaposition of the two really draw out differences in Hera and Sabine's character. Hera's room is organized-- the way she uses the extant caution stripes to define spaces is really nice-- and meant to be both highly functional (her workstation) and evocative of her homeworld.

Meanwhile, Sabine's room is all about converting the space to her own social and artistic vision. If Hera finds comfort in bringing Twi-lek culture with her, Sabine is only comfortable if she's in a space she defines herself.

Hm. Maybe Mandalorian art is less about the visual language and more about its usage in spaces itself-- we know, between the events of the Clone Wars and where the Mandalorian people end up in, well, The Mandalorian, that this is a time of shifting cultural definition and gradual diaspora. Maybe to a Mandalorian like Sabine, the point of art is to "conquer territory"-- to define places as Mandalorian, even down to singular chairs or Tie Fighters. Hera keeps a bit of Ryloth aesthetic with her in her room, but it stays there-- but Sabine's art isn't confined to her room. It explodes out, converting anything she touches into proof that the Mandalorian people could not be wiped out. A good bit of rebellion.

Also, check that sweet Embo fanart in the corner. My girl.
