Thinking about @Scampir's chost about Baldur's Gate 3 as I check Dicebreaker this morning and see their latest article is about the character size rules in D&D 5e. Everything not-even-that-old is perpetually new, I suppose.

Note, even observing that everything is cyclical and the cycles are phenomenally short is itself kind of a trite observation, heh.
My first reaction was "man, I figured this shit out by just reading the 3.0 PHB, how is everyone's attention span so bad nowadays" which is like the second most trite observation.
