I've been wanting to make something for this intro ever since I first heard it, since it really stuck with me. But I only really started with a sketch weeks later after listening to PALISADE 18... And really, I'm glad I didn't do it sooner, because what better time than now?

I haven't had a chance to listen to the new episode yet, but I'm pretty fucking excited for whatever the next sortie brings.

With all the hassle I had working on a canvas that long (I couldn't even save it as a png at the original size!) and the amount of space it takes up on the feed it felt necessary, but also I really couldn't have made it any shorter, & I love it as it is.

I think the intros this season (including the Road) have all been pretty outstanding, but this one just hits different. I never got sick of it either while drawing this, even though I had to read/write/listen to it SO much, but it's just that good!

Oh me too, all the time :' ) I thought about them sooo much while drawing this. What a great character. This (& the Road to PARTIZAN Gur intro) is one of my favourite intros as well, so I'm super happy I stuck to finishing this drawing & that people are enjoying it so much. Thanks!
