Using two greatswords instead of fretting over which to use, then going back to the hero’s set to drop weight to medium load rules actually.

There’s something about Elden Ring that feels more bombastic than Dark Souls or Bloodborne. Like if a flame were to reignite in dark souls it would be a final cough to signal the end of an age, but in Elden ring it is a great breath and a tongue of flame is set in a mouth at full roar.

There’s a pivot here, where I feel like between jumping to dodge, the variety of attacks and weapon arts, like there is so much for muscles to memorize. Like the game has the mode I’m in now where you explore and take your well-levelled tarnished into boss fights, and another where you press yourself into the shape of Elden ring like iron into a cast mould. Previously I felt like I had the option of understanding very jagged rules, optimizes by understanding their technical peculiarities. Now in Elden Ring, I’m seeking out all the pieces to my album cover subject. Then I will press my will into his shape.
