Mine are:

  • Actually run a campaign of my game Exilium
  • Have fun running ICON (we are moving to weekly)
  • Play FIST because I have a good adventure idea for it but I want to play more of it before I release anything.
  • Play more games that my friends make!!! (You should release them!)

Iro
@Iro

I'd probably like to do Lancer or Icon. Also been looking at Armour Astir and Ascendancy.

I ran a Numenera/Cypher oneshot earlier this year (christ it was in 2022 ahhhhhh) and thought that was alright. I also drew out a whole map for an Electric Bastionland oneshot that went nowhere.

The people I'd likely play with are working on some other long-term projects right now and if I insisted on trying out some games it would eat into the like, one free night a week we all have

I don't know about Lancer but I do know that in 1.6 ICON is going to be trimmed down a lot. Like, half the statuses are going to be cut down. I think Tom's trying to forge it into a really quick and accessible tactical game.

My eyes definitely glazed over a bit when I hit that section of the book. Those kinds of bespoke statuses and effects for every single class are great in a tactical video game where the computer keeps track of that shit but hoo boy I could not be bothered to read over all of them.
