I've been snagging character portraits from it for that game, because the visual-novel format is actually really good for getting clean, direct bust shots that showcase the character design, AND tempting my players to watch lesser-known mech anime, it's a win-win

(I also grab mech sprites from it as a treat)

Ough there are so many let me see

Upper Left: (my campaign's version of) Medea Nu, reluctant task force coordinator dealing with strange mechs from beyond spacetime because no one else has the expertise. She also likes anime.
Upper Middle: Union Troubleshooter Ange, trying to do their best to take down inhumane corpro-state activity with the full legal backing of the Union engine, but so much political pressure against the action, and a simmering pot of rage resorting to hiring independent mercenaries through disposable and deniable fronts.
Upper Right: Astreia, of House Glass-In-Exile (Self-Proclaimed), Karrakin expatriate, possible sponsor. Does not speak. Signs, or when needed, uses haptic sensors in gloves to translate to synthesized speech. Might be trying to recruit the players to back her in a succession crisis.
Center Left: Calypso Tarantula, who is having a very normal day.
Center Middle: "The Wave", formerly a high-ranking lieutenant of the Silversun Pirates, forcibly befriended by the player characters, currently having her world shattered as the players discover the terrible experiments that went into creating this version of her.
Center Right: "Lucifer", who pilots a weird sniper evangelion style mech that does funky things like stealing enemy buffs somehow (they don't know how) and just generally getting into trouble with a grin and a laugh.
Lower Left: Callsign "Oni", pilot with the Discord Kittens squad, here for a good time. What, like you aren't?
Lower Middle: Mayvy, a perfectly hinged paracausalist and completely and totally ethical scientist who will jumpscare you at the worst possible moment, every time.
Lower Right: Joe, a fixer and recruiter for the Mirrorsmoke Company, who has an offer that'll make you quite a lot of money. All you have to do is sign on this dotted line.
