It’s tough for sure! Took me using some absolute bullshit (Kojima cannons when they were flying in to take out one immediately) to do it.
Yeah I love the toolbox aspect of this game. It makes me wish that Lancer leaned more against the players so they had to find specific kits (by acquiring temp licenses in downtimes) to solve combat encounters.
I love it but it's one of those aspects that I think makes total sense for a punishing single-player game, where half the game is bashing your head against the same encounter until you figure out something that works for it, but would probably get pretty tiresome at a tabletop.
Yeah the room to fail without moving forward is definitely a video game thing but I dream.
