seeing the recent news about how fucking racist shotspotter is (such a surprise) just makes me angrier about my departure from the idtech4 server; casual racism supported by supposedly hard facts that whites who feel they are fair and balanced and rational can point to and say, "I'm not racist, but..."
even worse, there's now a story going around about how a white woman organized a mass country-wide shoplifting scheme to steal $8 million worth of goods from brick and mortar chains to resell the goods on Amazon, something that I was told by the server admin that Blacks do that harms their own communities (and thus justifies more Draconian anti-shoplifting measures or even shuttering stores).
the racist has the benefit of "facts" easily grabbed off the shelf and for free from "reputable" institutions. Why would cops lie? Why would the State lie? Isn't the New York Times a fair and balanced news source? After all, they aren't OAN...
I fucking hate that to these people I'm on the same level as that loon who posts climate change hoax shit because often my only sources for how fucked up the world is are indie news outlets like "It's Going Down" or "Unicorn Riot" and by default any first hand experience to these people is biased and extremist, holy shit i'm so tired
