I know that describing the kind of ttrpg you want to play publicly is fatefully the one thing that dooms you to never playing it (YMMV!) but post Dune part 2 and reading Lancer's KTB supplement I do want to play as the entourage of a doomed noble house escaping a coup into the wilderness with the heir in tow and a squad of mechs between them.

I kind of want to play the anti-Dune 2. Where you play Secular Republican Fremen trying to prevent this offworlder false prophet from taking over your culture. But, like, maybe have to actually agonize over their ability to unite otherwise uncooperative factions against the other outworld invaders.
