One Canuck built the #ttrpg tag and the #mecha tag. And that was me.

Has this been a thing? I haven't seen like, any negativity whatsoever.
yeah i read some stuff years ago and got the gist of it but now that i've just concluded a very slowly rolled book club of twilight mirage over the past 18 months I think that like, those are more in tension with the fact that it's a product of a roleplaying game.
it is, it is also a beast to get through. like i remember it being a personal milestone that i had been able to clear it. so i can understand that as a critique
I have no idea. It was my first season, I caught up right before the Miracle, and I wasn't really involved with the fandom/discourse at the time but it's my understanding that even back then people were mixed-to-negative on it... which has always be completely bizarre to me. I think it mostly had to do with the pacing, which some people found kinda tough when it was originally airing. Idk I guess it cam be kinda messy and opaque in places too especially on a first listen when you don't know where it's going but that's part of it's charm imo.
