Voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, this guy is a companion for the Bounty Hunter class in Star Wars: The Old Republic. He’s a Mandalorian born and raised which contrasts how your Bounty Hunter has to fight their way into that group. I never did a deep dive into Torian because “Mandalorian” was enough to me when I was playing, but what I do remember was that his dad was against the Mandalorians joining the Sith Empire and Torian has to live under the shame of his father's rebellion. I really enjoyed the relationship that his presence gestures at between him and the Bounty Hunter. Torian is a by-the-book traditionalist who serves to comment on your choices standing in for what traditional mandalorian culture is, but his character is that way as a reaction to being associated with his father. I don't think that The Old Republic, an MMO, can take this relationship to it's full exploration which is disappointing. I like Canderous Ordo more than Torian Cadera in execution, but I actually like the pitch of Torian Cadera way more than Canderous Ordo. Wish we could have had more of that conflict over mandalorian culture from different perspectives in The Mandalorian.
