and welcome to MY cohost. I have put this off from my initial activation, mostly because I enjoy being an ephemeral online presence. I'm going to be upfront and say that you probably don't know me.

That's fine. I am primarily on Cohost to talk about roleplaying games. You can find mine here. What I have published on Itch.io should give you a good idea of the roleplaying games and kinds of roleplaying games that I am interested in. Sadly, there isn't a myanimelist for roleplaying games yet. I am by no means a popular author, luminary, or an expert; but here I am nonetheless writing something for you to read.

Some general rules I try to stick to when thinking about what to write are:

  1. Pushing beyond old topics of theorization for roleplaying games
  2. Distinguish between what the text used for a game is providing for me and what I am contributing to the game as it is played
  3. Articulate a particular aspect of the text as it impacted the game in a way that surprised, intrigued, or challenged me

You could peg me as a critic or reviewer, but I really see myself as a play-tester. Hopefully I can develop my writing here in a hobbyist capacity.

Rest assured, I'm here to post! From the time of writing ' don't really know if I'm going to drill into anything in specific, but I do really enjoy writing out de-briefs after playing trpgs which I think make for good post material.
