Ab/Normal is a FitD game about people with strange capabilities. A classic genre, playing off media like Jojo, Mob Psycho, My Hero Academia, Persona, and other "Niche Power" media. It's had a lot of iterations (including a PbtA version!) But I'm slowly managing to zero in on the playbooks, and maybe... even a Public alpha??? Would help with testing.

One of my personal favourite playbooks is The Chained, fate's punching bag. They have a Bad Abnormality that sucks and hurts them. But they can also turn their bad fortunes into good fortunes. A lot of their kit plays off the trope of "Take Damage, Deal Damage." For example, their starting move, "Unchained," ensures that if they fall in battle, all hell breaks loose.

I think the only thing I care less for knowing a person's opinion about than their views on the Star Wars Sequels is whether they prefer dubbed or subbed anime.

Unlike other PbtA games, Everybody Wants to be a Star doesn't use playbooks based on a character's struggle and instead offers each player character a unique arc
