It boggles me that OnShape feels more responsive and faster than Fusion 360. For those not in the know, both are CAD packages designed for like, 3d modeling. Fusion is a program that runs on your computer, OnShape is a web app.

Except, that's not entierly true - Fusion is just a web app in a trenchcoat running Electron. But, even still, it has access to my entire pc! And my computer is a little old, but it's no slouch. The fact the ui is as buggy and unresponsive as it is is almost impressive.

And, while OnShape delegates more computationally expensive stuff to cloud servers, it still has to run like, the 3d renderer locally, right?? And all the ui stuff?

Truly, a testament to how bad Fusion can be.
