I've been thinking about the idea of a little like, toy personal computer with a focus on tactility. Something that can replace some of the utility of a smartphone and be a genuinely useful computer, not just a gimmick, without using a touchscreen and being pocketable.
I really like the form factor of the GBA SP, wanna do something like that, stick a screen and a raapberry pi zero in there as the main computer. The biggest challenge is really user input and the interface. I feel like cramming a full keyboard onto something like this is impractical at best, but how do you do the kind of tasks people use computers for without em. Interesting design space to say the least, I'm gonna give it some thought.
