oh yea i have a cool bit of trivia for that
for most plant people, when they die and are buried in the soil, an ordinary plant of their species grows from their grave. because of this, graveyards are often big beautiful gardens. some people even bury their loved ones around their homes and take care of their grave's plant as a way of honoring their memory

depends. usually i just come up with a basic idea and build a character around it, and typically there's some incentive for me to make that character. sometimes i just think of something or see something that would make a real good character design and i just go for it. or sometimes i just wanna make a character to pair with another character.
