My first attempt at caprese salad. Maybe not the prettiest but it tasted pretty good. I forgot to drizzle olive oil across the top until after I took this picture.
BTW, if you ever see a caprese salad recipe that calls for a balsamic reduction - you don't actually have to reduce the balsamic vinegar. Unless you want your entire kitchen to smell like it.
