Saw a discussion a while ago about conservative artists who make good art and someone theorized that Clint Eastwood counts because he is conservative but isn't a "true crank." Which I guess is true if you are totally unaware of the very famous event where he yelled at an empty chair that was a stand in for Barack Obama
