Death Crimson 2 might be the only (console?) game I've ever played where you have to press the start button to begin controlling the game after you've already chosen to start the game. The first level literally loads with enemies attacking you and you have to press start before you can shoot them. I thought I had messed up my Flycast configuration at first. No, that's just how the game is.
