I'm out of the loop when it comes to most gamer opinions, but I remember a big one for a while was "gaming journalists can't be trusted to review a game fairly because they got it for free." Just swaths of people claiming all game reviews will be positive because a journalist was absolutely psyched to get something for free. Legions of gamers revealing themselves to be easily bought and paid for. Do gamers love every song they hear on the radio? Have gamers enjoyed every sample they've received at the grocery store? Are gamers wearing thin scratchy giveaway t-shirts and thinking it's the best garment they own?
