My Neocities page now has a RSS feed! I'm an experimental game developer who makes both computer games and tabletop games, so if that's your thing feel free to check it out:

Neocities: https://scroungin4catsup.neocities.org
RSS direct link: https://scroungin4catsup.neocities.org/RSS.xml

I've also hopefully successfully included RSS autodiscovery in the index page headers which makes it easier to detect without having to go directly to the RSS feed's page haha

That's right, this Saturday I will be appearing on Indiepocalypse Radio alongside Taylor Curreysmith and @phoenixsimms! The creator (and occasional voice!) of games like Bileview, Pitch and Putt Club, Wrist Lock!!!, and Authorized Likeness will be talking about video games and wondering why he wrote this sentence in the third person.

Also, check out Indiepocalypse magazine, a monthly anthology of alternative video games. My game Authorized Likeness was featured in issue #29.

The show starts at 2 PM eastern time. Got a question you've been itching to ask? Send it on in!

Today marks the one year anniversary of the release of my game Wrist Lock!!!. As noted in the title of this post, Wrist Lock!!! is a "local multiplayer tug of war platform fighter" - but what does that mean?

Both players sit across from each other in real life, with one hand on the computer's mouse; the "baddie" that begins in the center of the screen is controlled by this mouse. Pull it towards the lumberjack on your side of the screen (your lumberjack) and, once it gets close enough, the lumberjack will jump. If the lumberjack lands on the baddie, they become mouse-controlled for as long as they are in the air. Now's the time to try to push them back towards the opposing lumberjack and jump on their head enough times to reduce their life meter to zero, knocking them out! But your opponent is trying to make the same thing happen to you...

For all of the Saturday party animals who missed this yesterday because they were out partying, I made a local multiplayer game where you and your opponent try to control the mouse. I made another post with a helpful diagram as well (the diagram is also included in the game's .zip file).
