I'm reminded of a memory when I was a little kid, it was my birthday and I had a birthday balloon. I let go of it and saw it go further than my eyes could see, it absolutely terrified the shit out of me for some reason.
Doubly so when a F-16 flew out of nowhere and shot it out of the sky.
EDIT: I had to be informed that a F-22 came by to blast it out of the sky. Seems a bit expensive to murk a red balloon.
